Join Fairway Market — a locally owned Vancouver Island grocery chain serving our communities since 1963, now with 9 locations across the island. We are currently seeking a focused and dynamic team player to join the International Foods Clerk department at our Goldstream Village store (772 Goldstream Ave, Langford, BC).
Successful applicants will support their department by providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe and efficient shopping environment. Key responsibilities include: merchandising products according to company and department standards; providing exceptional service through professional and courteous conduct; collaborating with management and associates to ensure store efficiency; and adhering to all company policies and government regulations.
We are looking for a punctual, honest, and hardworking individual to join our friendly, fun and positive team. Full and part-time positions available; day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Training provided and wages based on experience — the starting wage for entry-level retail grocery positions is $18.25 per hour, in accordance with government standards, and is negotiable based on previous experience.
