Join Fairway Market — a locally owned Vancouver Island grocery chain serving our communities since 1963, now with 9 locations across the island. We are currently seeking a focused and dynamic team player to join the Meat Clerk department at our Athlone Court store (101-2187 Oak Bay Ave, Oak Bay, BC).
Successful applicants will support their department by providing excellent customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean, safe and efficient shopping environment. Key responsibilities include: merchandising products according to company and department standards; providing exceptional service through professional and courteous conduct; collaborating with management and associates to ensure store efficiency; and adhering to all company policies and government regulations.
We are looking for a punctual, honest, and hardworking individual to join our friendly, fun and positive team. Full and part-time positions available; day, evening, weekend and holiday shifts. Training provided and wages based on experience — the starting wage for entry-level retail grocery positions is $18.25 per hour, in accordance with government standards, and is negotiable based on previous experience.
