JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Assembler I
Job Summary
Under direct supervision, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling various Salford products and components according to Standard Operating Procedures. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that each product assembled meets the required quality and efficiency Standards.
Responsibility
* Independently assemble and package machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to our standard or average allotted times
* Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs.
* Maintain a clean work area and equipment
* Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required
* Safely load and unload parts on and from the main paint line
* Check Individual output to ensure highest quality
* Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
* Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures
* Assist other team members and take on other duties as assigned by the lead hand or supervisor
* Troubleshoot minor hydraulic/ Electrical issues
Academic/Educational Requirements
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Required Skills/Experience
* Experience working with hydraulics, electronic equipment, and other mechanical work is preferred
* Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail
* Safe operation of Forklift and overhead Cranes.
* Experience with hand tools and power tools
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device
* Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical errors
* Must be organized, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
* Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided)
* Ability to work independently and in a team setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
