OVERVIEW
Requires loading cars, keeping up with inventory, operating mobile equipment, clean up, following the crane, stacking/re-stacking of bundles. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
* Placing dunnage on stacks, trucks, or railcars
* Scanning material in and out of inventory
* Visually inspect material for apparent surface defects
* Band bundles and railcars as required
* Operate mobile equipment including truck shifter, forklift and rail shifter
* Load trucks and railcars with finished material, billets and secondary items
* Secure and tarp trailers as required
* Communicate with drivers and other departments
* Work and cover overtime when required
* Stack/ re-stack steel bundles
* Any other duties assigned by Leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Practical computer skills
Preferred:
* 2- Year Verifiable work experience in an industrial environment.
