OVERVIEW
Assist in shipping operations by staging/loading material scheduled for shipment
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Housekeeping
* Safe operation of all area cranes and mobile equipment
* Scrap disposal using cutting torches
* Operation of sample shears, strapping and packaging equipment
* Operation of walking beam conveyors and associated handling equipment
* Support routine maintenance activities, downturn work, and preventative maintenance checks
* Continuous observations and recording of quality data
* Various utility functions assigned by area supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong safety awareness
* Good communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
* Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision
* Works well with others and independently
* Quality and detail-oriented
* Mechanically inclined
* Willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled
* Ability to work routinely in a hot
* Repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting, and walking will be required to support routine responsibilities.
