OVERVIEW
Upkeep and continuous improvement of the entire plant exterior site and assist with routine environmental regulations and compliance projects - such as air, stormwater, wastewater, and material monitoring & response.
RESPONSIBILITIES
*
* Exterior plant / site maintenance including but not limited to:
* Grounds maintenance: mowing / landscaping / fence upkeep
* Road cleaning
* Trash collection
* Snow removal (may require some nights / weekends)
* Environmental assistance with regulations and projects such as:
* Air compliance testing
* Stormwater/Wastewater maintenance & inspections
* SPCC tank inspections & maintenance
* Recycling & waste stream coordination / management
* Radiation detector maintenance & calibrations
* Spill response
* Other related tasks as needed
* Monitor and work with contractors to achieve program goals through safe working practices.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* 100% Engagement in Take Control of Safety
* Self-motivation, able to work productively with minimal direct oversight
* Must become certified to operate a variety of mobile equipment
* Must complete annual environmental training
* Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including off hours snow removal
Preferred
* Heavy equipment experience
* Landscaping / snow removal experience
* Mechanical skills with light equipment maintenance experience
