OVERVIEW
Responsible for electrical maintenance in the Melt Shop working a 4 on 4 off 12-hour rotating swing shift.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leader in locking out equipment and assuring that all maintenance work is done safely.
* Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of new electrical equipment.
* Assist millwrights and operators with daily maintenance work.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* At least 3 years working as an electrician or electronics technician in an industrial environment
* Knowledge of power distribution, AC/DC motors, motor control and motor drives
* Experience with Allen Bradley PLC’s, and Rockwell Software
* Experience with low, medium, and high voltage equipement
* Understanding of thermodynamics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Preferred
* Robotic experience (ABB preferred)
* Formal industrial electrical, and automation training
* Skilled at problem solving and troubleshooting electrical equipment
