OVERVIEW
Brief Description: Welding and fabrication in shop and field. General machining duties. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Candidate must be:
* Proficient in basic electrode and mig welding, including pipe fitting and pipe welding.
* Able to assemble steel structures utilizing fabrication drawing.
* Proficient in basic machine shop practice
* Able to work without direct supervision.
* Able to work overtime when required.
* All other jobs assigned by the shift supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience/Requirements:
Required:
* High School diploma or equivalent
* 5-Years of manual and CNC Machining experience
* Must complete Mechanical Apptitude Test
Preferred:
* 2-Year verifiable work experience in industrial environment
* Completion of a recognized welding program or machine shop program
