OVERVIEW
Floater position available for assisting anywhere in the assigned department
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Housekeeping
* Assist Caster and LMF deck in all areas of job
* Stocking Materials, and Various Clean-ups
* Caster turn Arounds
* Machine Changes and Assist at Ladle Wall
* Train on Caster Crane
* Safe operation of all area cranes and mobile equipment
* Support routine maintenance activities, downturn work, and preventative maintenance checks
* Continuous observations and recording of quality data
* Various utility functions assigned by area supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
* Strong safety awareness
* Good communication skills (verbal, written, and electronic)
* Self-motivated with the ability to work consistently without direct supervision
* Works well with others and independently
* Quality and detail-oriented
* Mechanically inclined
* Willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled
* Ability to work routinely in a hot
* Repetitive stretching, reaching, lifting, and walking will be required to support routine responsibilities
Preferred
* Experience working in an industrial setting
* Forklift and Crane Experience
