About the Role.

We are looking for an experienced Principal Artificial Lift Engineer specializing in Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) to join our team in Maracaibo, Zulia and Maturin, Monagas.

In this role, you will develop advanced ESP application recommendations and technical proposals while serving as a subject matter expert for customers and internal teams. You will combine strong engineering knowledge with hands-on operational experience to evaluate system performance, identify optimization opportunities, and support the implementation of effective ESP solutions.

You will also play an important role in technical project execution, product development initiatives, and the mentoring and development of less-experienced professionals.

JOB DUTIES

* Develop advanced ESP application recommendations and technical proposals based on well, customer, and operational requirements.
* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ESP applications, design considerations, and performance evaluations.
* Provide technical and operational support to internal and external customers.
* Lead post-well evaluations to assess ESP performance, troubleshoot performance issues, and identify optimization opportunities.
* Monitor ESP design requirements and support product development projects within the assigned area.
* Apply engineering principles and advanced Artificial Lift and ESP technology concepts to complex technical and operational challenges.
* Support ESP installation processes and evaluate system and equipment performance.
* Prepare technical analyses, performance profiles, recommendations, and technical papers.
* Apply project management skills to organize and execute technical assignments and initiatives.
* Mentor and coach less-experienced technical professionals, supporting knowledge sharing and technical development.
* Contribute to business objectives related to new product commercialization, revenue, inventory, and profitability.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Science.
* Minimum of 6 years of experience in Artificial Lift operations.
* Demonstrated hands-on technical and/or operational experience with Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) systems.
* Strong knowledge of ESP applications, system evaluation, performance analysis, and optimization.
* Practical experience applying engineering principles to Artificial Lift operations and solutions.
* Knowledge of ESP installation processes and performance evaluation.
* Ability to develop advanced technical recommendations and effectively communicate solutions to customers and internal stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving, project execution, and technical communication skills
* English Intermediate
